Polaris is extremely proud to have been chosen again this year as the official off-road vehicle supplier for the star-studded Race of Champions (ROC SNOW + ICE) that will take place at the end of this month on the frozen ocean of Pite Havsbad in Sweden.
Continuing on from the successful partnership for last year’s event, Polaris Sweden will be supplying a fleet of Polaris RZR vehicles to support the highly competitive off-road racing at the Race of Champions.
On January 28-29, racing stars such as Mick Schumacher, Sebastian Vettel, Travis Pastrana, Jamie Chadwick, Oliver Solberg, Valtteri Bottas, and Mika Hakkinen will compete on the ice track at Pite Havsbad. Who will be the racer that will take the ROC crown from last year’s winner, Sébastien Loeb, who scored the best time in the Polaris RZR Pro XP?
Behind the wheel of the turbocharged RZR Pro XP for the off-road elements of the competition, the racers are sure to get maximum enjoyment and a true adrenaline kick out of its powerful 181 HP engine, the industry’s fastest engaging all-wheel-drive, as well as special equipment such as extreme studded tyres for impressive grip and acceleration. Equipped with DYNAMIX 2.0 - Polaris’ most intelligent and active suspension system - and FOX 2.5 electronic shocks, the Pro XP delivers a driving experience like no other on the snow and ice of Sweden’s Pite Havsbad.
Also supporting necessary work behind-the-scenes, Polaris vehicles will be in operation across the Race of Champions event - including its range of snowmobiles, ATVs and side-by-sides - all equipped with a variety of useful parts and accessories like tracks, plows and cab kits to help manage this large-scale event and navigate the snow and ice terrain of Pite Havsbad.
